Dr. Weaver believes she is fulfilling her life’s mission through her work at Alignment Strategies. She was born into a family of African-American entrepreneurs who expected success, service to others and pride in being Black. She translated that expectation into a commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion within corporations. Under Dr. Weaver’s leadership, Alignment Strategies has led the charge, influencing organizations to focus on diversity as a business enabler. For more than 30 years, Alignment Strategies’ initiatives have helped companies including Procter & Gamble, Con Edison, Verizon, American Express, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Eli Lilly and Company, Johnson & Johnson, Amgen, American Federation of Teachers, Edison Electric Institute, Northrop Grumman and the Department of Defense address unconscious bias, improve employee engagement and retention, and create more inclusive company cultures.

Dr. Weaver leverages media to advance D&I conversations. In October 2017, she launched Diversity and Inclusion Television (DITV), a company that creates on-demand media, podcasts and online resource guides.
